Corfe Boarding House Extension

With an increase in junior boarders, Toowoomba Grammar School chose to extend the existing Corfe boarding house in 2014.

We were contracted to complete the electrical installation of the new boarding house extension, as well as to conduct the electrical alterations to the existing boarding house during the renovations. During the works, we had to replace the main building switchboard, as well as the sub-switchboards in the existing building. We also had to relocate and rewire the fire detection equipment to be compatible with new addressable fire detection equipment. This was a bit of a challenge as we had to keep electrical and fire services working throughout the project as the building was still being used by the boarders during the construction and renovations.
